GAA LONDON BIENNIAL GENERAL MEETING
Dear Members,
The Board of Trustees and Executive Committee would like to advise all community members that the Biennial General Meeting (BGM), will be held at Kenton Hall, on Sunday 10th May, 2026.
Doors will open at 1.30pm to allow members to register and pick up their voting cards. The meeting will then start promptly at 2.30pm and is scheduled to finish by 5.30pm.
All individuals of our community are invited to attend, but if you wish to vote or stand for a post, you are required to be a fully paid Patron, or Life Member of GAA London. Associate Members are allowed to vote. Please refer to the Constitution to explain the types of membership we have and the entitlements under each.
Please note that all nominees must declare whether they are on the management committee or trustee of any other UK-based Hindu mandal, association or charity. You will also need to go through a DBS check and sign a Trustee Eligibility Declaration form.
The Agenda for the BGM is detailed below but please note:
1. We will be seeking changes to the GAAL Constitution at the BGM. The changes proposed seek to improve the governance and operational running of GAAL, and have been approved by the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees. The proposed changes can be found by following the link below.

2. Details of candidates who have submitted nomination forms to stand as an Executive Committee or a Board of Trustee member at the BGM Election will be sent under separate cover. Please note that we will also be accepting nominations from prospective candidates on the day of the BGM.
